Snatam Kaur Khalsa, is an American singer and songwriter. She performs the Indian devotional music, kirtan and tours around the world as a peace activist. She lives in Española, New Mexico.

Robert Halley was born in Toronto and raised in Unionville, Ontario. He began dancing at the age of 14 under the influence of his 2 sisters at Performing Dance Arts where he competed in dance festivals throughout North America and was exposed to a grand variety of dance.

His professional training occurred at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Arts Umbrella in Vancouver, The Ailey School in NYC, and The School at Jacob's Pillow.

He has toured the United States and parts of the Caribbean with Ailey II (the second company of Alvin Aliey American Dance Theatre) teaching in various schools and universities as well as performing in such prestigious venues as The Apollo Theatre, The Kennedy Centre and The Radio City Music Hall. During his time in New York City he also danced for The Fred Benjamin Dance Company and Adams Company Dance.

Robert then made history by performing the floor ballet duet alongside his sister in The Lion King on The West End in London, England, a first for any siblings in this musical. His other Musical Theatre credits include, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Copacabana (Mill Mountain Theatre), Cats (Drayton Festival) and Wicked (Osaka, Japan).

Robert can be seen alongside Mike Myers in the closing dance sequence of the feature film, 'The Love Guru', in Lizz Wrights' music video for 'My Heart', and in 2 episodes of HELLCATS one of which was directed my Debbie Allen.

He has danced for the following Canadian companies, ProArte Danza, Judith Marcuse Projects, Kaeja d'Dance, REAson d'etre productions, Arabesque Dance Company, Kaha:wi Dance Theatre (touring to Japan, Mexico and Australia), and Dancers Dancing. While in Japan he was invited by Tomoko Imanaka (Kyoto) to be a guest artist in her production of 'Trick of Destiny.'

Robert's background in dance has exposed him to many other modalities that have complimented his journey. These experiences have inspired him to further studies leading up to being a 3HO Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and a Registered Thai Therapist in Nuad Bo Rarn (Ancient Massage, more commonly known as Thai Yoga Massage).

It is from this mix of the art of dance with the holistic arts that Robert has awakened to see life as a continuous expression and how every moment holds wisdom and thrills for us to create and discover. He celebrates this philosophy in an open co-creative fashion in his classes
and choreography. Robert is an independent dance artist currently based in Victoria, BC. He recently premiered a piece entitled, 'S/KIN' by Constance Cooke dancing alongside Jung-Ah Chung. In April he will be performing The White Spider by Jennifer Mascall.

Jap Preet Singh, took his first yoga class at a fitness center at 15yrs old. It was a basic hatha yoga class in an atmosphere with cardio machines and barbells, but it was right there that he felt a resonance with this ancient practice. It was around this same time that he was learning to dance and so the exploration and investment of his body was a big focus. However due to being involved in the competitive dance world, his schedule was quite full with rehearsals and travel that caused yoga to be on the back burner.

Yoga resurfaced in Robert's life when moved to New York City. Even with a very full schedule at Alvin Ailey, the variety of classes and styles were everywhere. For about 5 years Robert explored between many styles of yoga such as, Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyendar, Bikram, Dahn, Vinyasa, and Jivamukti.

Robert has always been innately connected with nature and the spirit world. He knew that yoga complimented his journey as a dance artist and as someone who strives to be a consciously aware being.

In 2005 a friend of Robert invited him to attend a class of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan at an old church in London, England. It was weird. People dressed all in white, chanting, dancing, flapping arms, breathing powerfully, laughing and singing. It was wonderful. After 2 years of practicing Kundalini Yoga around the world he took the teachers training program in Toronto, Ontario with Sat Dharam Kaur and is a Kundalini Research Institute approved yoga teacher.

Robert believes that yoga is for everyone and a gift to mankind. The postures, breathing techniques, meditation and chanting are remarkable tools in transformation and wellbeing for everyone at all stages of their lives.
