Old Villages (Evening Calm - Time Revisited)

A long time ago ... Imagine a world without Television, Mobile Phones, the Internet and Youtube ... and so many other things - the list of modern inventions is endless. Since time began, never have things changed more so than in the past 100 years.

In a world full of pressure, stress and anxiety these lovely old photographs remind me of how things used to be, a forgotten age. Life was hard but simple and uncomplicated.

This was the inspiration for my two compositions 'Evening Calm' and 'Time Revisited'.

Hot summer days - the Sunday School treat with a ride in a char-a-banc and a picnic by the river. It all comes flooding back captured in the music and pictures.
