Just a quick exploratory test using my Squier Classic Vibe 50s Stratocaster through my Kustom Defender 5H (5 watt) tube amp connected to a Kustom 12" ... that's it... talk about raw. Any reverb like effect is truly "room reverb", it's whatever is bouncing off the walls. The original tubes sounded very harsh when pushed, so I changed the original Chinese tubes (12AX7 and EL84) to JJ tubes and it helped quite a bit.
Knobs...
Guitar
volume: back and forth between 8 to 10
tones: round about 7
switch: messed with all positions
Amp
volume: approx 11 o'clock
All bits and pieces are original, influenced by many.
such a nice guitar right? especially when you take the price into consideration. got the same one myself.

@kuni50000 I love it, I also have the 60s strat, the jazz and precision basses... and I have to say I go to these before I go to any of my mim mij mik and mia... since I got these all else stays on the rack. Amazing guitars, all I needed to do was adjust the truss rod a tad, intonation and adjust the saddle heights, that it.

I have this amp I was wondering, all you have to do is drop in the tubes as long as it's a 12ax7 and el84 right? this is my first tube so sorry if this is a dumb question.

@monkey789able Yep, that's all I did. I did not see any adjustment pots available for biasing, so even if you wanted to, there is nothing you can do unless you mod it. Make sure the amp is unplugged and be careful and wiggle a bit as you're pulling it out and the same as you're putting the new ones in.
