@jaminjava2 - thank you for commenting, yes it's happening in many places. This video was done in 2007 and the lecture was I believe given in 2005. Unfortunatley a lot has happened since then on this issue.

But I still must say that it is the West that advertises it more then any other nation in the world. Its more commercialized and widely accepted.

Growing up in the U.S. TV would never allow two males to kiss, now its ok.

But the Sin is not limited to the west. I agree with you.

@misty4033 brother the point is very simple. yes they did not receive their guests with good intentions , yes they committed rape, yes they were bad people. it does not matter what label you label them by homosexual, heterosexual, or any other sexual. the fact remains the same THEY HAD SEX WITH GUYS, WHICH THEY WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO DO, THEY INVENTED IT. when Allah punished them Allah punished them for all the bad things they used to do including having sex guys and not believing in one GOD.

@No1KnockOut This is exactly my point, they were hetersexual men with WIVES, it was the WAY they were lusting for men, the sins were infidelity, rape, inhospitality and arrogance against the prophet. Remember Lut's (pbuh) wife was perished as well, she was not homosexual.

@misty4033 you honestly believe that part of the punishment was not for homosexuality? they wanted to rape the male angels in order to satisfy their sexual desires. they had wife's but lusted after men. they were doing this before prophet Lut was sent there. they invented homosexuality so surely part of the punishment was for being a homo or a heterosexual. i find it hard to believe they got punished for everything else apart from the sin they invented. and Allah knows best.....

@mustaftiyaahmed The majority of muslims have completely missed the whole story of Lot and have taken it out of context, these aggressive violent men were heterosexual men that wanted to rape the male angels for reasons of power, humiliation, and to go against Lut's preaching of one God. The sin for the perish of these cities were rape, infidelity (these men had wives from reading what it says in the quran), robbery, treating any strangers badly. NOT homosexuality
