  • @ObediahFults Lucille Ball did not come out to California until 1933. But you're right about Betty Grable. Incidently Grable & Ball were good friends.

  • @ObediahFults that's probably Ann Sothern, who resembled Lucy in their chorus girl years.

  • Lucille Ball at :52 (left) and 14 year old Betty Grable again at 1:31.

  • The film used the Whoopee Broadway Shows fashions, set style, and some stage costumes as well. Busby Berkley was brought from Broadway as well, at Eddie Centor's request, to do the dance routines. Sam Goldwyn got the best part of the deal, as Ziegfeld was near bankrupt due to the Wall Street crash, and needed to sell the sucessful show as a film

  • Ziegfeld style? This is from the picture "Whoopie", which was produced by Flo. His name is in the opening credits, along with Sam Goldwyn.

  • charming
