Do not get me wrong, the task is impossible, but I do not disagree with trying. The problem is that to bring true and lasting peace to Africa and restore there forward momentum as a country, would require political heads to roll and massive amounts of bloodshed. It sounds very warmongering, but it's true. And I just don't know if the world would support the U.S., or any country for that matter, spilling the "innocent" blood of a warlords army to protect the people who they oppress.

War lords seem to rule much of the Injun country and keep it off limits without military support. If logistics are too difficult, move on to areas that are stable. They have done this to themselves. The over populate, they allowed themselves to be conquered and starved by warlords, they choose not to fight back. When they make a concerted effort by themselves, they may yet be able to save there country and culture.

Agreed, fertility rates in Africa are the highest on the planet.The average African woman will bear 5-7 children over her lifetime! (the world average is about 2).They overpopulate themselves which leads to starvation and disease.Then it's brought upon the western countries as a guilt complex to give them our money, C'mon! Complete ignorance is the problem here! Birth control and education is the answer. I'm sick and tired of this white mans guilt shit,for once stand on your own two feet Africa

Over half the world's population live on 2 dollars (or less) per day. I work with people who complain that they "only" make $18 per hour. It's obscene to watch all the obese whiners walk around the malls of America. I'm no "hippie" or "liberal" either, just a compassionate human being who is often ashamed of my fellow Americans... We should all pitch in $20 or $30 per month so NO ONE in the third-world needs to go hungry or without clean water!
