Penryn is just a codename of an Intel processor. The MBPro also uses Penryn chips.

@ropguitar1 He's just showing that there wasn't a terrible difference between the two systems, it was an unbiased review. He pointed on some highlights for both systems. He did miss some important things like the trackpad being multi-touch. The LED display was already shipping in the older macbook pros since late 2006. I have the original 'core duo' macbook pro that shipped early 2006 and it's the only one that used CCFL. It is junk by todays standards but still very reliable and useful.

I love my early 2008 macbook pro 15", fuck the 2009/2010 ones, but man the 2011 ones are fucking insane! :)
