@sandletters39 Thanks for that. That show you were thinking of may be Lazarus & Dingwall (which I have no recollection of) which apparently was on BBC2 in 1991 & was a sit-com. I came across the reference to the Wow Show on a Tommy Cooper tribute video hosted by Ade Edmondson, where Frost, Arden & their Wow Show cohorts chipped in with daft quips

@sandletters39 I'm sure they were in a show called 'The Wow Show' which is actually what I'm hunting for now, but as yet found nowt. They also popped up from time to time on alternative TV comedies like The Young Ones & Blackadder.
