I LOVE YOU JESUS (What a Beautiful Name)

This is a very anointed song that God gave to my friend as a poem back in the 70's.. When I read the poem, I knew it had to become a song. So I wrote the music. The words are piercing. It's about using the Lord's name in vain. This was a rehearsal in 1991 at a Assembly of God Church in New Jersey.
These are the words to the song.
Jesus Christ what a beautiful name, what a perfect life perfect man, how sad when people call on you, curse your name and all you do'
It hurts me each time they say, your name in all those awful ways, how many times your head must turn, to hear your name and yet to learn...........it isn't for your help they call, it isn't for you at all, just joking they say your name, when they're mad, you get the blame,
They use you when they're plans gone bad, or when the world has made them sad, how many times I hear your name, and see your eyes looking near with pain.
It grieves me so to know the pain, you feel each time you hear your name, so greatly misused, how your heart must be bruised.

You do have a lovely voice. It is so crystal clear, and I love this song! The lyrics are soooo true... unfortunately so, regarding those who use His name in vain. I absolutely hate when they do... makes me cringe inside, then I say a quick prayer that our Lord will forgive them, for sometimes people know not what they do.
