its not that harleys idle lower, its that they run cams with a tighter LCA so there is more overlap and therefore more of a "lopey" sound that people expect out of a V-twin... that being said my shadow 750 has no problems pulling away from 883 sportsters. i do love harleys as much as the next guy but they are made with alot of old technology and they just can't compete with the jap cruisers when it comes to performance.

Haha Harley is screwed. Now Honda makes the same look as Harley (except way more dependable) and you can get the SAME loud sound that people buy Harleys for in the first place.

Thank you for posting this video. I've been on the hunt for good pipes for my Honda Shadow ACE for years now and I haven't like any that I've come across to get rid of the "sewing machine" sound. THIS ROCKS! I will definitely buy the hard krome now. Thanks again. Oh and gotta love these stupid conversations that have followed your very simple video that had nothing to do with a Harley. Good grief. Thanks again! Did you have to do any rejetting? Did you install these yourself?

Yes I nstalled the pipes, the front one is a bit tricky but with some patiens anything works.
You have to to a reject if you wanne go. With out the rejet you'll just hear your pipes roar in idle.
