  • hey i just bought a hv30. what setting did you have it in durring the filming?

  • @916Aldo I don't remember, but I have the settings on cinemode with manual focus.

  • I've watched a number of your videos in the last half hour. Really eye catching camera work and editing. I would enjoy seeing larger projects from you in the future. Keep it up.

  • Thank you very much! I'm actually just now getting done with a short film. It's going to be 15 minutes in length, so I don't know if it'll be posted to youtube, but I'll see how I feel about breaking it up into two parts. It'll definitely be on vimeo, though. Thank you for the nice comment! :)

  • wow this amazing.. epecially the DOF @ 2.20 - 2.30 !

Did you have any adapter attached to the HV-30? and what editing program did you use to do the color correction?

  • Sorry for the late reply. No, there's no adapter or anything, just the naked camera. I use Sony Vegas to edit.

  • Hey, would you mind explaining how you got the look at 1:28? Or anyone if they know.

  • Holy shit that was amazing.

  • That was such a great looking video, i am convinced, i think i will buy the HV30! It looks like you filmed this with a much more expensive camera! One question, was there any color correction?

  • By the boat it have realy film look !!! ao cool!! Ich will buy the HV 40

  • Very nice! I just wanted to see what the HV30 HD would look like - but this was a great short. Very captivating music and synchronized scenes. Took some work I bet!

  • the only thing i didnt like about this was how out of focus the field was. the depth of field was way too deep for my taste. also the frame rate seemed to low on some of it. its an awesome looking camera tho. ur really talented and u got a good eye
