New car mount from NETimes.com, seems to work very well. My main use for the mount is to be able to stream music to my car stereo using bluetooth. The video mainly displays the HTC coverflow system (similar to that used on the iPhone/iTouch. Also shown briefly and something I will also use is CoPilot Live 8 GPS/navigation software.

  • You have to remove any case first as the fit into the cradle is tight. Must update.... my NEtimes mount now rotates, the flexible mount has become loose and twists in the two ends.... this means the phone does drop on one side rather than being flat... abit annoying so I would NOT recommend this mount now.

  • What car have you connecting the HD2 to?The dash looks like a VW Golf?

I ask because I've got a Golf (59plate, 1.6TDI 105SE with the RCD-310 stereo) that says Bluetooth audio in the headunits setup menu but I couldn't pair it with my HD2 when I tried today, got any tips?

  • It's a 58 plate Focus... the stereo is a cheap replacement from Aldi (a Tevion)...it works but it's not great.

  • Nice man. I plan on doing the exact same thing.

I have the touch pro 2, and the bluetooth audio sucks when i stream it. I cant control the volume of the audio from the phone. It sounds loud and distorted. This may be because of the widcomm bluetooth stack.

You haven't experienced any issues with the bluetooth audio coming in loud and distorted with the HD2 have you? I hear it uses the same stupid wicomm chipset?

  • No mate, no issues with loudness or distortion with either the car stereo or Bluetooth Stereo Headphones (Motorola S9). Only annoyance with the stereo is that when the engine of the car is switched off the stereo/HD2 reconnect handsfree only and not A2DP (so I have to do this manually). Also when playing music and also running CoPilot any speech sounds crackly over the music but I can live with that.

  • how do you download music videos games and all of that on to the hd2 and i have this idea about saving iphone/.ipod touch apps to your computer then putting on the htc hd2 can you make a vid about tryin that please ohh and the answer to my first question to the music stuff please reply THANKS :)!!!!!!!

  • Try connecting via the supplied USB cable to a PC first.
