What better way to compliment a new Sandy Bridge CPU than with a high-quality motherboard from ASUS?

Today we have another special guest who you might be familiar with -- J.J., the Senior Technical Marketing Specialist from ASUS and the guy who knows more about motherboard engineering & technology than anyone we've yet to meet. So now that you know the difference between the H67 and P67 chipsets (you watched our Sandy Bridge intro video right?) it's time to determine the right motherboard for you.

This is the ASUS "mainstream" line of boards, not to be confused with their "TUF" series (a la Sabertooth), their WS (workstation) series, or the top-end ROG enthusiast boards. J.J. will talk you through the features of the entry level motherboard, then go up the line to talk about the differences between them as you move from tier to tier.

Enjoy the video, and stay tuned for more to come this week!

  • would the p8h67 be good for gaming? i dont see why i wouldn't.

  • The pro version is utter garbage.

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 Asus has come out with loads of BIOS updates for improved memory compatibility now. I'm guessing the bios on the mobo that caught fire had an old bios. But still scary though.

  • @9ggubZprod Nope, it was 1.5v G.skill... but ASUS p67s are known to have poor memory compatibility so it was probably something with the RAM

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 probably used shitty 1.65v ram.

  • @fredfanhomie Killed the CPU, RAM, and Video Card ;(

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 so his video cards burnt? Dang that sucks.

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 THAT SUCKS LITERaly FIRE? PHYSICAL FIRE??? WOW DUDE SO SUCKY

  • Why do they only have 1366 X58 motherboards. cant we have 1155 X58 chipset motherboards?

  • will my ASUS P8Z68-V PRO work with sandy bridge?
