Star of TV's classic "Route 66" also did several LP's. This classic standard, written by Walter Donaldson and published in 1930 has been covered countless times; it is a stereo vinyl track from the 1963 LP "Just Turn Me Loose!"

  • LOVE the song, love George's voice, but did you HAVE to run the crawler across that GORGEOUS picture of him from "Playgirl"?! Spoil sport----lol! Magnificence like that should NOT be covered up! Thanks for posting this song, though!

  • @broncolady4ever You're welcome.

  • I would have never guessed George Maharis could sing. Never. Man, I was very wrong indeed. He sounds awesome on this Sinatra song. Thank you for the post -- and the song. I plan to learn it. I should be so lucky to sing it half as well as Mr. Maharis. Great singing from this actor. Really enjoyed it.

  • Nice! I heard him sing on an episode of Judy Garland's tv show and thought, "This guy ain't no flash in the pan; he's teriffic." and this recording just confirms me in my thought.
