  • @Trouchme by kick i think she means push down with you shin on the ground.

  • As a licensed massage therapist and a pole dancer - thank you, thank you, thank you! This is amazing and SO helpful!!

  • Added the lung stretches to my deskercise routine. I just finished them for them first time and could definitely feel the stretch.

  • Ok, lost me w/the foot kick on the 2nd exercise. Ellen can you elaborate on this part please? I REALLY need this!!! Thank you so much for posting the vid!!!!

  • Can't wait to try this and see how well it works. Thanks for posting!

  • ELLEN! I love me some ELLEN! I can attest to this - it's worked for me really well, what I really need is Ellen to inject me with motivation. I need a tune up soon with Miss Lovelace. Stretch 2 gets me about 2-4 inches from splits when I'm really warm.

  • Thanks, Ellen and Amy! This particular sequence (runner's stretch/split work) is the bane of my existence on Saturday AM warm-up. We have a once monthly semi-private for circus on Sundays with more time and fewer students, and the teacher did give me some feedback on aligning that back foot. She inched it over just a little bit until it was straighter and I certainly felt it!! I like this principle of stretching by resisting a force--David Owen had us do some partner work based upon it.
