  • I emailed Virgin Broadband customer services about the problem (I put this Youtube vid up as further information for them to look at. Wasn't really intended for anyone else but I forgot it was here.) They never responded, though within a week or two the problem went away and has never returned.

As the original problem with google maps had been going on for some time, it's possible they did something to fix the problem, so it's worth contacting them about it.

  • After contacting customer services several times and not getting any response, the problem eventually went away. It did take a week or two. Everything has been fine since.

As an educated guess I'd say that there was a fault between me and the cabinet at the end of the street that was rectified during routine maintenance or as a result of my messages to customer services.

Best of luck with your problem.
