This was recorded on November 27, 2009.
The script that I wrote before making it was:
Today marks two years since my first shot of testosterone, so I figure a video is called for.
I watched my one year video [which I'm posting as a comment to this video] which organized my thoughts a bit.
I did get more of a mustache, but it didn't look so great and I shaved it off last week. I have gotten more body hair.
I never did regain that weight. In fact, after the previous video I continued to lose for another 11 pounds of which I've regained 6. This was apparently from a combination of diseases [thyroiditis and cholecystitis among them] which may or may not have been contributed to by my very high T levels.
I'm still certain that going on testosterone was the right thing for me to do, and I don't regret it one big, but I often think that one day I'll stop taking it.
In January, one of my doctors looked at my medical records and pointed out that I'd had elevated testosterone levels since before I started injected testosterone, and suggested that I was intersex... the whole thing makes me mad.
As far as mood goes, I stopped crying at the drop of a bucket. I have been dealing with anxiety and went back into therapy over the summer.
I'm still not sexually attracted to people and my libido has dwindled dramatically. Oh well...
After my recent 21st birthday, I got a new state ID that labels me male.
I learned a couple of signs for transgender...
In the next year, I hope for more stable health, more comfort with however out I might be, bigger body and smaller boobs.
I took my first injection of testosterone cypionate on November 27, 2007.
The dose was 200 mg. I took this dose every other week until
April 1, 2008, when I took 180 mg instead. I took 180 every other week until
August 6, 2008, when I took 120 mg. My last injection at that dose was Jan 21, 2009.
I injected 80 mg on Feb 2, Fed 14, and Feb 26 of 2009.
I injected 40 mg on Mar 10, Mar 22, Apr 3, and every twelve days starting May 6 until Aug 10 of 2009.
I injected 50 mg on Aug 21 and then every 12 days until Nov 25 of 2009.
The initial decrease was because I felt bad. The next two decreases in dose were because of high testosterone levels. The fourth decrease was because of polycythemia. I then stopped T for a month because I had gallbladder disease causing elevation in liver enzymes and my doctors thought it safer for me to stop until I had my gallbladder removed on April 22. The dose was then raised a drop because my estrogen levels were a bit high.
I initially injected testosterone in a 200 mg/mL strength; I then moved to the lower concentration of 100 mg/mL for better accuracy in dosing.
woow you increased testosterone nice for you!! =)
and i want to decrease it =( i mean, personally, i'll hate to loose my hair, i love long hair T.T waa =(
