  • this is awesome. i will cover this in my next video :D

  • If everyone could play like this...then it would not be so amazing. Some people

are just destined to be awesome at their craft...Tommy is there. It brings him joy to make us happy. So the circle is complete. I hope you didn't burn your guitar!

  • @junksleeper bad news....this is probably his easiest...for me anyway....

  • will be eventually, i have about 20 tommy songs or so i wanna record. but i have university to think about right now with exams and so on . but yeah soon!

  • I'd love to hear your version. Post up!

  • The April 2007 copy of GUITAR ONE magizine has the tab for Antonella's Birthday if you can find a back copy.

  • when he was on woodsongs, he said his mind didn't work in altered tunings, only standard, but that was a few years ago (not sure when exactly) and since then he's experimented in other tunings

  • i saw tommy emmanuel live before i even knew who he was at sum private gig lol! I fell in love with his playing as soon as I heard this piece, tho. I have to learn it - if i cud just dig out that copy of Guitarist magazine...

  • i can play this song, its DGDGBE capo on the 2nd fret. sorry :)

same tunning as tall fidler because i always play tall fiddler after playing antonellas birthday.

i normally then tune back up to standard tunning still in second fret and play lewis and clark :)
