  • This is HORRIBLE! This way takes way toooo loooong!

Besides, this video doesn't explain how to apply this method with something like

    LiOH + H2(SO4) = H2O + Li2(SO4)

there is a hydroxide on the left but none on the right....so now what???? you can't draw that stupid line!

  • @SlapMarket First off, BE NICE, especially when your comment makes you look like a fool considering that the example you typed here is exactly like the first example in this video, but you are NOT paying attention to detail. You have hydroxide on BOTH sides. H2O = H(OH)!!!

Let's say we didn't have OH on both sides, you still draw that "stupid line" (as you called it) but you separate the OH into H's and O's.

  • what are polyotomic ions?

  • @SugarSweetStar24 Polyatomic ions are non-metals that are bonded covalently, yet carry a charge. Check out my video called Polyatomic ions to see some commonly used polyatomic ions. Good luck with your studies.

  • great video! Thanks! Im ready for my quiz now :)

  • @Clonewolf4, I def agree. Sometimes I feel like I have all the info, and just don't know how to connect the dots. This video will help me take a step back and see the whole thing.

  • I need help with balancing chemical equations when one of the metals in the equation has it's charge listed beside it, for example: Lead (II) oxide. Does anything change in the process? Please Help!

  • @SugarSweetStar24 ahaha Anna! what are the chances of me finding you on here?! LOOL looks like we used the same videos to help us with our chemistry ;)
