@iqlusionblogspot Nope, but I think you're not. I don't get "racism" from the BOM at all when I read it, because I read it in context & spiritual understanding. I know racism well. Watched every movie on the subject, read books, etc. I even left the Church myself & was anti-mormon & anti-religion because I ignorantly assumed that simply because the priesthood ban existed that the Church couldn't be true. But, I was ignorant of the ban itself, the Church, scripture, & history as you are.

I read the Book of Mormon in seminary, in two classes at BYU and in two different languages while I was a missionary. I also taught out of the Book of Mormon in numerous Sunday School classes.

So what's troubling you? Do you think the Book of Mormon is perfect?

A christian calling a mormonism a cult is a hypocrit, religion is for the intellectually debased and no longer relevant to the modern world, if anything stalling social and technological advances which would actually help society.. rather than praying ;)
