Garden of Shadows isn't even written by VC Andrews and cannot be read first.

I know. It was written by a ghost writer the family hired after she passed away. I chose to read it first, BC that OS how I wanted to read it, but I appreciate your input.

No no no. Garden of Shadows cannot be read first. That's horrible how your saying it should be first. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the entire point of Garden of Shadows was so you can go "ohhhh, that's why that character was the way that character was. I totally understand now And am doing a complete 180 on my opinion." Hope I didn't do to much spoiler.

Now the Cutler series - the last book Darkest Hour on that one made me hate the lead character even more, not less,

Well everyone has their own opinion and I appreciate you giving yours. I just thought for me it was better to read Garden of shadows first not only because I had yet to read the Flowers in the Attic book but because I wanted the whole back story first. Thanks for your comment and your feedback!

now the early books were the best its a shame the new writers are not doing the old writing with the 5 books with the prequel i miss the old writing now its all these young teen stories with vampires ect
