Tamar Adler, author of "The Everlasting Meal" and former chef at Chez Panisse and Prune, explores the characteristics of a clever chef and the magic of cooking. Tamar definitively debunks the catch phrases and practices of so-called celebrity chefs while coaxing her audience to cook healthy, nutritious meals from whatever they might have on hand.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Thank you. I on chapter 3 of your book, I have attempted to cook more in the past week than over the last two months. I've been wanting to learn how to cook and how to be frugal with my grocery budget. Today for lunch I combined the results of three different meals, I mixed my broccoli & cauliflower with pasta and (broken aioli) parsley pesto. Not bad! I have some learning to do, and hope to be a "clever cook" before too long. Looking forward to the rest of the book. Thanks again!
