i don't think either guns or velvet revolver will ever match up to the early days of guns without Izzy, he held the band together and was probably thier best song writer. Slash is an amazing guitarist and axl is an amazing singer butthey were both too busy with ego trips to get down and write some awsome tunes like izzy was doing behind the scenes the whole time. Duff is also a total beastage bassist and guns would be shit without him cuz he brought that edge which was lost in chinese democracy
