Our tour of the Pacific Aviation Museum. This museum is seriously bitchin!! Although the museum is small at present time they are expanding their collection and aquiring more hangars!! Mahalo and enjoy!!

  • @8cuttlefish8 Aircraft engineering is crazy cool stuff. What made it cool (to me) during WW2 is that the internal combustion engine, piston I should say (for turbine engines are internally combusted as well) was pushed hard during that period. Horsepower figures shot through the roof, on both sides of the aisle, one being the radial companies, the other being the liquid cooled v crowd. By 1950 it was over, with all attention going to jet (turbine) engines.
