http://sites.google.com/site/classicalguitarhandbook Practice this exercise using a metronome, set to a tempo you are comfortable with but that will also test your limit. On the 'b' string, alternate between playing quarter notes and eight notes along to the metronome. Practice with finger combinations i&m, m&a, and i&a. • @thebestguitarplayer1 Fileing and polishing ur nails is a part of being a classical guitar player it increases the quality of the sound alot it has nothing to do with being a fag or a man .. Ignorant..

  • good exercise. Being without a teacher, I'm always on the lookout for ways to actually improve, and this would have a helpful effect done every day. Gotta get to work on those rest strokes more!

  • @thebestguitarplayer1 Search "Snapshot of my right hand & nails". It's Bill Kanengiser from a masterclass video. Then search videos of him playing for videos of him playing.

  • @GoldsCovers There's a lot you can't do without nails, a lot of faster passages sound very muddled, especially in tremelo. Plus it's just completely impossible to get the same sound.

  • @Rexicano Why does he need to learn how to file & polish his nails? He's not a fag like you...

  • Terrible tone; need to learn how to file & polish nails and alter hand position.

  • These are really good exercises for building speed but you should also think about economy of movement. I think you are bringing your fingers to far out after each pluck. Try to keep minimize this movement and keep your right hand fingers as close to the strings as possible and you will be able to play a lot faster.

  • @GoldsCovers

you don't have to, but it's proper.

  • @tovened just because its classical guitar dosent mean i HAVE to use nails when i play does it?

  • @GoldsCovers Why dont you use any nails than? You should be using em.
