Arizona Safe Boating Celebration

Is your watercraft safe? Do you have everything onboard that you need to keep your family safe while you are on the water? Are you knowledgeable of Arizona's boating laws and regulations? Do you know what all those buoys mean? Put those worries to rest and come to the only event in the state that offers water safety information and vessel safety checks - all in one place!

Enjoy demos, knot tying, and much, much more at the 10-lane boat ramp. Vintage life jackets will be on display to prove how stylish today's life jackets have become! There will be prizes throughout the morning and lots of information from boating experts that will help you enjoy safe and clean boating on the lake.

Find out how to operate your boat safely and learn about dangers such as excessive speed, alcohol, carbon monoxide poisoining, quagga mussels, etc. And, don't miss this annual opportunity to get your FREE watercraft safety check, which will be available at both boat ramps. If you don't pass, you won't be cited during the event! The inspection takes LESS THAN 15 MINUTES and can be performed while you get your boat ready to launch. During that time, you can visit the information booths to get more information about anything boat safety related.
