Why isn't this ever on tv in my State? Oh Right Communist State
-
that sounds just great:)

Anyway, it looks like Obama wins by landslide tonight. We'll see whose fears were justified ...

"McCain is the least religious candidate out of the four."
that's just ridiculous, the only unquestionable thing he did was embracing the social conservatives on the extreme Right. And there's the fundamentalist/creationist Sarah Palin waitin' in line.

"Kitzmiller v. Dover Area SD"
Oh yea, the poor guy and his family have been guarded by the police and FBI since then (after receiving tons of death threats)
I'm sure Bushes won't do this mistake again.

Just like Bush did, Right? I'm not a single issue voter either, but it upsets me more when an inherent natural right is threatened, than when governmental acts contrary to my socio-political beliefs.
-
McCain is the least religious candidate out of the four.
Your ridiculous hyperbole is not convincing anyone.
Have you heard of the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District case?
It decided that Intelligent Design could NOT be taught in schools. The judge that made the decision?
A Bush Appointee.
You are a victim of some extremely dishonest propaganda.

I'm more worried about rights and liberties and science education and separation of church and state that the U.S. will lose under a McCain/Palin theocracy.
The Supreme Court will maintain its nice equilibrium under Obama. May turn into the dark ages under McCain....
-
It's just speculation and propaganda. The man runs for Presidency, two terms. He will have to keep his word if he wants to b reelected.
I'm not a single issue voter.
How about McCain? On tax cuts, regulation, bailout... politicians flip flop all the time.
Welcome to the reality.

That's stupid. If the liberal judges are the old ones then Obama will just nominate new, more liberal ones when they resign or kick the bucket. Justice Kennedy is always the swing vote, what happens when he gets replaced with a radical liberal? The court won't have another 2nd amendment case for a long time, they've set judicial precedent, they can't just vote to overturn their decision. Anyways, 2nd amendment restriction can also come in the form of high taxes, regional bans and CCW elimination
-
Exactly, he's flip flopping to get votes. His true opinion, that which he will exercise as president, will be akin to his voting record in the Senate. Even if he doesn't support bans on handguns, hunting ammunition, and assault rifles (which he will), he will most definitely support high taxes an firearms and ammunition, so that you and I can't afford to shoot anymore.
How many supreme court justices will be reappointed over the next 8 years. Is the 2nd ammendment in jeopardy ?

Justice Kennedy is 72 years old and he voted in favor of the 2nd amendment in Heller v. D.C.
It was a 5-4 decision.
Yes, the 2nd amendment is in Jeopardy.
