-
@slash77200 Yes,but this guy is just a fuckwit trying to stir trouble, read his posts,he,s Ahem "challenged" in so many ways,I don,t think he can help his retarded outpourings. The internet sadly emboldens idiots who want to shit stir,in complete anonymity, without going out into the world, saying same and having their face pushed in,you dig?.Take work from working class people, then what are we supposed to do?.
-
@fuckoffnortherncunt how can we be work shy? i say we but they... they worked hard..did they not?
-
@chesielad69 What really saddens me about the whole pits episode,is that IF,and its a big if,coal and deep mines had truly had their day,a gentle wind down of operations and closures perhaps,as well as a more structured transition to other areas of the labour market for those who wished to carry on working.Instead of the whole debacle that happened, the hatred, the arrests, victimisations. It was all so unneccessary, and the effects to society hang about like a bad smell to this day.

@MrBulldogtools a lot of the Kent miners were of northern descent and all were people of true integrity. Good lads, your right. Sorry should not have risen to a fools bait and entered any comment to this post. Just ignore

Just had a question from "fuckoffnortherncunt". Asking "What type of northern cunt are you".Sorry mate i'm from London always have been.
@4snaggletoothBrits You are an imbecile who has no idea what he,s talking about, and if you are working class you ought to be fucking ashamed of yourself. The British worker was the envy of the world, and built the world, and it,s not laziness on the part of the worker that has bought us to where we are.Go read some books,do some research,or keep your assinine comments to yourself.

My condolences go out to all you hard working folk of the north. I was only 4 years old at the time, but now I realise mostly what the miners' strike was all about. "Coal, Not Dole" - that was a very brave and true parole. The government clearly didn't go out of its way to prepare and train people for new livelihoods, instead blaming the 1970s Labour government and corrupt union bosses for the then economic mess in the UK (well that was at least partly their excuse).
