FAQ

Q: Does this work for the demo version?
A: Yes.


Q: Can you get banned if you play on singleplayer mode after having modified BF2?
A: No, you will NOT get banned.


Q: Can I get banned if I play online with a mod and own everyone with my 1337 homemade imba rocketsh00ting rpk-74?
A: You will not be able to join an online server with a modified version of BF2, unless the server is hosting the same mod as you are.


Q: How do I play the normal version of BF2 after modifying?
A: Replace your modified objects_server inside the mods/bf2 folder with the backup objects_server you made.
You SHOULD have made a backup, since it said in the video, I do NOT take responsibility if you did not do this.
Well, if you didn't take a backup:
If you only edited 1 or 2 things, reset those to the original value. Or, if you still have the tweaks on your desktop/in your recycle bin from when you removed the "read only", then insert those where you have modded the tweaks. If none of these works for you, then you'll have to reinstall BF2.


Q: What if I have expansion packs? (Complete Collection, Special Forces, Armored fury, Euro Force)
A: No worries, there is no difference. You will just have some extra folders in your mods folder.


Q: What about BF 2142?
A: It's pretty much all the same, just right click the BF2142 icon in the beginning instead of the BF2 icon.


Q: It says that I can't modify anything.. Why? How do I fix this?
A: You need admin priveleges to do save your modifications.


Q: I didn't backup so now I've pretty much messed up my BF2 files... How am I supposed to play online?
A: You'll have to either manually restore the files to their exact old condition, or reinstall BF2. I might get you a new Objects_server backup though if you ask nicely.

@WhatIsGoinOnPeople Same thing happened but i found another way to do it. Drag the Objects_server.rar to your desktop and then open it from there. It should work fine. Make sure to backup your files too
