Im always switching my 30-minute workout plans up. It keeps me from getting bored and also keeps me out of a fitness rut. Here Ive included a video demo featuring my workout of the moment. Whats great about this circuit workout is 1) its super time-efficient, 2) its a full-body workout that burns calories and also increases your resting metabolism and 3) you can do it anywhere!

Some of the exercises in this workout are yoga and boxing inspired. Ive also added in some balancing moves, which are highly effective for increasing the intensity of the exercise without placing unnecessary stress on your joints.

Equipment:
The only equipment youll need are 2 pairs of dumbbells.
Beginners will want to use 1 and 5 pound dumbbells and advanced exercisers will want to use 3 and 8 pound dumbbells. Follow the below workout program 3 days a week to get fitter, firmer, faster!

  • Does anyone else have problems with the HotandHealthyLiving videos looking pixelated? The background looks fine, but Ivy looks pixelated when she moves.

  • Oh and I can't even do 1 pushup so I modified that to wall pushups instead...LOLZ.

  • Hi Ivy, I love all your circuit training workouts, I do this with sparkpeople 10 minutes kickbox cardio 1st then repeats yours twice. I have some questions regarding the last segment of this workout, (7.35 onwards) when you're standing do you bend your knees or are your knees straight? I can't quite figure this out and I feel that my form is wrong during this segment. Hope to hear your reply, thanks for the great videos Ivy !

  • Hey! Love love love your videos -- I do notice that the dead lifts are really a challenge, and I think I may have bad form. I do feel it in my hamstrings, but I also feel it A LOT in my lower back... maybe it's not flat enough? Anyway, love your 10-minute circuits!
