Professional Photographer Rob videos a Photo Shoot showing how he photographs a public event like a peace rally on the streets of Toronto. The shoot was based on public protest rally's in Toronto and Hamilton regarding the bombing in the Middle East during the winter of 2009.
Merci de partager votre savoir-faire. À propos des hacks... j'ai rencontré des photographes de presse qui ont débuté de la sorte, alors j'imagine qu'il ne faut pas complètement les dévaloriser. Keep up the good work!

@ rincerresource In Canada, the press are not required to wear press badges. How does having a hack "cheapen" what a pro does? A hack can act like a jackass and create a bad impression of the press to the everyday citizen (and for that I don't like them) but it doesn't cheapen what a pro does. If anything, it proves to the hack that he is just that. I've shot many times next to a hack and they've been astonished at the difference between their photos and mine.

@ytlcl it helps if you knew a little bit about what i do before you open your mouth. i am a full-time reporter who just happens to also teach irish dance lessons. I don't need a press id to teach irish dance as i am not tring to get public access. on both fronts, i speak from authority.

another question for you. if you are out there shooting like you are a member of the press, (you say you are on assignment) why aren't you wearing a press badge? this has always been a pet peeve of mine since i am a reporter. nothing worse than seeing a camera hack out there 'looking the part' without being the part. it really cheapens what we, the working pro do for a living.
