You are right! why watch an americanized indian film?
I loved the olders ones too. They were good till 2003. They reflected their culture then.
I hope that they find their way back!

I must have listened to this song like a thousand times during my college years when it first came out. Somi Ali looks really nice.

such a nice song...and i agree with tt line"tum nahi toh kuch bhi nahin.."

@qartaki --i agree...i loved the basti type storylines, the poor vs the evil landlords etc....corruption in police force. Now they are just like Hollywood movies...i have actually turned to watching Punjabi movies..they at least keep the culture and play traditional songs wear the clothes.

Mithun is my favored Actor, besides the point. I think it is nice to see how India has developed since 80's. Every country has changed this is new age, nothing is like it used to be while back,. Mithun da you rock, anyone who finds an error with your acting is just plain jealousy. Oh and I am not Indian. but I love the films and the songs, the new generation are doing just is good as the older generation. thanks to the person that upload this song.

I'm not Indian or Pakistani.... I love old Indian movies ! I like how it was based on like true stories.. They were showing their real culture. But now it's all the second version of Hollywood movies, if we wanna watch an Americanized movies we can just watch an american movies. Now the Indian movies r a joke ! They make fun of there selves.

Mithunda is a living legend... he was a style icon in his heyday, and mind you, his dress sense was a rage. He is one of those who've made Bollywood reach anyother level altogether.
