  • @coolerbox49 what? to cairns a 3 hour flight we had movies and all

  • What junk!!!! In todays world you take a qantas 767 / 338 to honolulu from sydney 10hour flight and have no inflight entertainment on the back of the seat. living in the late 80's early 90's.

  • They should do up these planes cabins and put ptvs in them!!! :P

  • @FLT111 Except for VH-ZX( ) Registered aircraft which are 767-336ERs - originally from BAW.

    The -338's are VH-OG( ) Registered.

(Bracket is a variable letter. ie VH-OGA VH-OGB VH-OGC etc)

    This particular aircraft is a VH-ZX( )

You can tell because the engines are Rolls Royce RB211-524H/T's and painted grey.

The VH-OG( ) registered aircraft have White-painted General Electric CF6-80 engines.

  • nice vid

british airways in background at 0.04, wish that came to melbourne

  • i am going on this plane today! to aussie

  • Cheers thanks for the info.

  • well its a 767-300. the 38 is only a delivery code used by boeing i.e. 38-Qantas, 36-British Airways, 12-Singapore Airlines, D7-Thai Airways and so on.

If a boeing aircraft is ever to be re-delivered to another operator that code does not change. for airbus aircraft the last two numbers show the type of engine used for the plane i.e. A330-303 (GE), -323 (PW), 343 (RR).

  • That is a 767-336ER, one seven that we have.

It was operated by BA nearly a decade ago.

  • Qantas has 336's & 338's! Id say the one in the video is a 336 as it looks like it has rolls royce engines and no over wing exits. The 338's have GE's and 2 overwing exits. I believe the 336's are ex british airways planes.
