Rick Steves, author of travel guides for Europe and many European countries, talks about his recent visit to Iran. Mr. Steves, who was in Iran filming a PBS special, says that the country is the "most poorly understood" place he has ever visited. He spoke at an event in Palo Alto, California hosted by the Commonwealth Club.
Rick speaks truth and he is informed and sensible.

i don't think we should judge him,
i think he just need to know the emphasis of Islam.
he does however make a good point about learning about our fellow Iranians.
in order to create a connection and learn from each other.

I may not always agree with his politics, but I admire the fact that he stands for something. It is hard to be in his position for 30 years and not keep his opinions to himself. Bottom line is , I support Rick's opinions because he has a right to them.
