That's it! I'm never using redstone ever again!!!!!
maybe ;P
So this is my 100 hr stopclock, its made using the latest variation of my 7 segment display.
Thanks goes to... MincraftAddict, Tavirider, and all the many people who ive taken inspiration from for the various tweaks.
This new display can have the face built out of any block you like and whilst its contrast between the active and inactive segment's is not as great as the previous version it has a far greater viewing angle.
It still has a few bugs , most occur during a 4 tick period (four tenth's of a second) if the last digit is 9 when your pressing a button, as this is when most of the RS NOR latches are changing state
But all errors I've discovered whilst making it should be flushed out by hitting the reset button.
The decoder has been thinned by two blocks from my previous version but the redstone wiring housed under each display still takes up so much space that I cant bring the digits any closer together.
However if you were to use manual switches or only attach a simple clock you could push the displays closer together.
Now that I've had enough of developing this display I may do a video that goes in to the making of the display and showcase some neat redstone tricks that have helped me save space or time and effort.
A new updated world copy can be found below (REMOVE THE SPACES FROM URL):

Please let me know what you think in the comments bellow
If you download the world and copy the displays I only ask you give credit if you use them on your server.
Also if you find a fault and fix it please do a video response so that other people can see the changes as I doubt I will be developing this any more.
this is amazing would a 10 minute one be just use the first 4?

@TheOnlyNinjaLeft you could make a 10 minute clock with only three digits. 0 to 9 for minutes, 0 to 5 for tens of seconds and 0 to 9 for seconds.
