  • Come see Henry Grimes at the Angel City Jazz Festival on 10/2 at REDCAT in LA.

  • Super-BAAD! I was there, it was fantastic, like standing near a creative blast furnace with the grill open! The rapport between the two lead instruments was extraordinary, beyond anything I've heard in the past 35 years - the drumming was a constant withering tempest of percussive strata... There's nothing out there that could touch this for intensity, I could have done with a smoocheroo 'for the ladies' but still, you can't have everything, one zillion stars, chaps, you're beyond all help!
