Definently sounds like a collapsed or worn lifter tick, I've never heard an injector being that loud before.

You have a bleeder valve that is leeking as well. The kit is only about $40 w/shipping on line. The deeler will try to sell you the kit as well for about $140 but it comes with a new hose. not worth the extra $100. I have the exact car as you and the car just started making that noise as well but intermintently. Please post what the resolution was for you. I will probably just sell my car.

What was the outcome/fix? I have a 2005 300 and had the egine replaced and now it makes the exact same noise and is louder at startup but quiets down after a few seconds. any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

my 2006 chrysler 300 has been making the same exact noise i took it to the mechanic he said it was the lifters he changed them and the noise went away for about a month and then the noise came back i paid 600 bucks and now they dont know what the problem is the noise is very disturbing to the point im embarressed to drive it =/

Sounds like ya got a spun main bearing. Your engine is gonna be toast if ya keep driving it.
