This video demonstrates a problem with the Demon's Souls official strategy guide (North American version)

The ink on the cover easily comes off, which shouldn't happen. As can be seen in the video this problem is probably only found with this particular guide, and isn't a common issue among strategy guides.

This video was recorded using the Playstation Eye and the Eye Create software (PS3)

Edit:
The strategy guide replacement program is now open.
http://www.demons-souls.com/stratguide/

Applications need to be send before! 31/12/2009.

Note that the program is only open for USA and Canada residents.

The strategy guide replacement program is closed.
(you probably guessed that by looking at the date, but I chose to mention it none the less for good measure)

  • At least the pages of your official strategy guide are still bound together. I have the Black Phantom edition (ue version) and the strategy guide has a really low quality binding. I take care of my stuff but that pages would not stay bound together for more than one use. Did this problem occur only to my strategy guide? Anyway great video. Have a nice day.

  • @crossaleister It could be because of a manufacturing fault, I cannot say. But I did not have any such issue with my guide (the one used in this video)

  • I fuckin love our acceng

  • @Eskalial2 heh thanks. Now I feel less bad for not having a good English pronunciation

  • Most relaxing video on YT.

  • N'importe quoi... si tu frottes 3 minutes sur une surface tu auras toujours des traces...

  • @xPaddy0524x ITS THE BEST THO I LOVE IT

  • I'm an offset printer so I can respond to your problem. The thing is that any ink will go away if you rub it. Also the acidity of your fingers destroys the ink pigments (probably you look at the book while playing, so your fingers are sweating). The dark areas are most suited to do it because there is more pigments to tear off.

To prevent this, they should have put a varnish on it to protect the pigments from scratching. They could also have laminated it with plastic sheets for same result.

  • @xPaddy0524x don't worry...I gave it as a complement
