Now THIS is how to really dive with a rebreather.

Actually the high set point of the rebreather was accidentally selected, causing it to filling more and more oxygen into the loop.

Negative comments about the buoyancy are welcome ;-)

  • There are still bubbles why?

  • @metelfann3

As the description says; the rebreather was incorrectly switched to a high O2 set-point of 1.3 ATA. The depth in the pool is only around 4 m, which means that the rebreather is injecting a lot of O2 in the loop trying to reach the set-point. Theoretical maximum at 4 m is 1.4 ATA, but to reach that you would have to do proper O2 flushes.

Normally you would use a low set-point of 0.7 in such shallow water. Then there would be no bubbles.

  • OMGGGGG youre diving with an dry suit in an swimming pool omg youre such an idiot

  • @Avoirrr Really? There's a reason that I use a dry suit (and dry gloves!) even though it's an indoor swimming pool, but I guess you are simply too ignorant to know why.

  • That looks awesome!!!!! I just got my PADI Open Water Card. Scuba diving is awesome!

  • @260191894

Haha, well this particular dive wasn't that awesome but yes, some of the later dives have been ;-)

  • oh oh, me me, let me guess why the dry suit, Im also a Evo diver, you always train as you are going to dive and if you dive with a dry suit most of the time, then thats how you train, some ppl have no clue.

  • Lol yeah here of the oregon coast water is 40 degreas at 50-100 ft below that you don't want to know how cold it is and i have dived with a dry suit and with a wet suit wet suit not so fun.

  • Makes sense so when you went deaper your o2 would not be so high

  • nice suit dude great diving....... it dosent matter wat other ppl say why does it matter to them u have a dry suit they prolly dont

  • @CarterFilmLtd haha im sure ive dove in more oceans then you under 60 feet thats how much meter?

  • @Avoirrr yeah it's called training. You're the idiot. I'm sure you've never dove below 60 feet and never gone into water colder than 70 degrees.

  • @jaksel i just hate it to see in an swimming pool and dry suit that looks stupid enough
