@mustafatahirawrah take 2 cups of sesame seeds, toast them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes (do not brown, just allow them to gloss over when they release their natural oils). Then blend thoroughly with about 1/4 cup of olive or vegetable oil.( I use olive oil here because I do not serve my hummus with an olive oil drizzle.) Then refrigerate or use immediately. It'll stay fresh for 1 month. Toasting makes a HUGE difference. But it's not necessary. Just makes a different taste.

well like you said, not much effect when doing a classic hummus. This is my variation to hummus and its very very good. Dont knock it till you try it.

You add mayo and "ranch" dressing to hummus?! *shudder* Now even if both of these items happen to be vegan, you just don't add that to hummus. But you're right about the peppers, I never do nor would add peppers to hummus, but everybody is free to experiment. And don't forget, this is a show. Not much effect when doing a classic hummus.
can we make our own tahini? if so, how?

You can grind toasted sesame seeds in a strong blender to make tahini. It might even work in a food processor too.
