  • JOHN BARRY WAS THE BEST BOND THEME COMPOSER EVER DAVID ARNOLD SUCKS .

  • Dame Shirley sang "Golden words he'll FIND in your ear" (around 01:52:08) instead of "pour" but that's OK, Dame Shirley, we love you!

What a wonderful, heartfelt tribute to the great man from all his friends. And what truly magnificent music he has bequeathed us.

    RIP, Mr Barry.

  • I've been a long time fan of film music, but only recently started listening to the work of Mr.Barry. Boy had I been missing out! What a genius. I hope to one day be a film composer and if I can reach some of the greatness that he did, I will be very happy.

  • Should have been Sir John Barry, I always thought he was a K.B.E. One of the greatest cinematic composers of all time!!

  • One of our greatest ever composers, period. His music was often greater than the movie, for instance You Only Live Twice was rescued by John's wonderful theme song. Somewhere in Time might have been fairly average hokum without John's score. I think the greatest union in his career of movie and music was Midnight Cowboy, a fantastic and lasting piece of cinema, one of the all-time best. God bless you John, you did it all.

  • Cant wait for the Blu-ray edition to come out soon....
