They were laughing

he is absolutely awful on this. It is embarrasing to watch

I think Americans should love this as much as any British person, as it's easy to understand and very funny... It would be very sad to think that an American couldn't get this comedy.. just because it's British... Maybe only Americans with British ancestry like British humour, as it's part of their DNA.

Back me up on this harry is an absolute legend.

A bit of Talking Heads at end by the house band...cool

This is probably the first time in a long time he's played to people who don't know who he is. Didn't falter once though, what a guy.

@Parley454 - I love his tv burp, best thing on telly. And I love his you've been framed, but his stand up just isn't for me. I like stand up that makes you think, like Carlin or Hicks.

I've never seen Harry do stand up /Impro , always seen him in a comedy tv series, now Letterman is a big gig for potential ratings Harry is avant garde with his form of comedy even in the UK, still on the night who knows, he pulled it off, etc...

His first time on Letterman (mid to late '90's?) was one of the funniest stand up spots the show has ever produced. Dave even referenced "You like the lining?" for the next 10 years.
I'm American.................and I think Harry Hill is much funnier than alot of American Comedians.
