"I work them hard," says kindergarten teacher

Tuesday, the real deal begins and the Patriot Ledger will be there to cover it. Tuesday is the first day of kindergarten at Ralph Talbot School, a longtime neighborhood learning center in Weymouth, and teacher Julie Igo is excited. This is her fourth year teaching kindergarten, a new beginning for these bright faces. Many of the schools youngest learners have already attended preschools, but they will find kindergarten is very different, Igo said.
