Tribute to the Troops

One day, I was watching a special on the Canadians in Afghanistan, and I saw a bunch of them proudly holding their country's flag. I was filled with pride when I glanced up to see that very same flag hanging in my window. So the other night, I went and made this video, a tribute to the many fine men and women serving their wonderful Canada in the Middle East and everywhere else they are deployed in the world. I love my country, and I am SO proud of all of our troops for what they are doing. Also, I want to thank the soldiers, sailors and pilots of America, Great Britain, the United Kingdom and all other countries engaged in this struggle for freedom. Thank you SO much! This is my way of saying thanks. The song is "We Rise Again" by The Rankin Family, I chose it because to me, it means that no matter how hard terror hits us, we will, as it says in the song, rise again. Enjoy.

Today marking Rememberance Day! May we all pause to remember all of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives so that we can live in freedom. As well our thoughts and prayers go out to all those troops who are currently deployed overseas.. May God protect them and have them home soon.
