  • but the point sam is making here is that the christians who believe in the crucifiction of Jesus were the superior ones... that was the following of Jesus that survived and was superior until this day.. not any other belief since the time of Jesus.. so if you think the islamic belief of what happened to Jesus was superior then you are easily refuted because clearly the crucified Jesus was the belief that was superior

  • people, please look at this christianity. It's a man made religion. it's false....please study Islam than you will see the truth..just give it a try.

  • Again, I agree with you that those who follow and worship Jesus as Lord are the only true Muslims (those obedient to God's will). They will be victorious in Christ until the end! Praise Jesus!

  • yes Muslims are christians !

    duhh

  • Zoughi, I also see it rendered "I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection."

I'm not an expert on this issue, but I think the point stands.

  • I don't think your translation "above" is the best. Perhaps "superior". The sense of having "victory over" seems to make sense in the context. I want to give this more thought.

  • there is a mistake in the translation in chapter 3 verse 55. There is no mentioning of victory. the meaning is that Allah set the people who followed Jesus above the disbelievers and regarded them higher.

  • There is no dillema here. The muslims are the true followers of christ.

  • And so, In part 1 of this series, the speaker makes this very connection himself. Let's go back to 3:55 - "I will make those who follow thee superios to those who reject faith to the Day of Judgement..." Therefore, the Muslimes shall be superior till the day of judgement.
