My 2005 4.0L auto V6 on a Mustang Dyno. The run was made in 3rd gear. I put down 200 rwhp and 198 TQ. AFE CAI, Brenspeed 93 octane tune, Ninosport dual conversion with GT mufflers.
not bad. should probably re tune. i made 215 rwhp and 245 rwtq with magnaflow dual exhaust and bbk throttle body on a 4th gear pull at 4800 rpm{speedlimited on the dyno}
now i have an Xcal 3 and 125 shot Zex wet kit thats getting dyno tuned next week
Thanks for the post. I was curious though. Your numbers look very nice, but did you have it dynoed on a Mustang Dyno, or a Dynojet. I'm sure you know that Mustang Dyno is more "real world", and the numbers listed are approximately 6-8% lower than a Dynojet would show. Also, my runj was really done in 3rd, up to 6200RPM, but peak rwhp was at 4100RPM and TQ was at 5560RPM. Thanks for yoru post!
u don't think it's the dual exhuast that may be robbing a little torque? either way this is really impressive. i'm a chevy boy, but the quest for v6 guys to compete with v8's is universal.
