@615139 because there is nothing wrong with it. Unless the images are being worshipped as idols.
-
@jatminder yeah go and hang out with the people who want to ban depictions of muhammed. There is nothing wrong with passing on knowledge through stories, verbal or animated. As long as the depections are not worshipped as God their is nothing wrong with it.
-
@MrSinghharpreet too bad that this is for people who are not sikhs and by people who are not sikhs. That is like saying I can't draw Muhammed. As a non muslim It does not matter to what ilustration bans exist for Muhammed.
Also one should use their intellect and realise the only reason that depictions of the Guru's was not allowed was to stop the ignorant followers from worshiping the depictions.
This animation is no different than the Sobha Singh paintings ect...

@gursikh133 this is a excellent animation, their is nothing ugly about it. Your perception is ugly.

@desimunda76 how do you know. his parents were hindhus. A child Nanak wore the clothes him parents gave and wore the hair that was customary for kids of his age who were hindhus.. Kesh was made a requirement by Guru Gobind singh. Before that only swamis and holymen had long hair. Guru Nanak only grew long hair once he grew up and chose to keep his hair long, as do all yogis and swamis.

total lie

Make a great animation. This is a very ugly animation. Do you think GURU deserve this kind of animation? How would you feel if somebody depicts you father, your mother, you and your whole family with such an ugly animation...............
I would advise you to watch the Vismaad Productions................The

Excellent. What Guruji started has been lost over the centuries. He was a philosopher, a philanthropic soul, who had no religion, just ways of living an honest life. Sikh = Learn = Disciple of Mother Nature. He is not being 'played' by some person - I do not care what hardcore people with no free will of their own say - Well done to the creators of this master piece. Guruji himself went against the rules of the day, we need to adapt the message, not the chaff that has now covered his work.
