  • Looks really under geared... Doesn't have to be geared for speed runs but for bashing it should easily get to 50mph. That's doing like 30...

Thanks so much for your opinion. What makes this opinion qualified? Did you have all of the facts, or are you basing it on the video? In other words opinions about videos don't mean a thing.

  • @RCStreetcom

Yeah it is my opinion, but it's fairly justified and many people will agree with me. You can run it like that, it's your car, but it will run better if you gear it up. The motors get really hot when they are undergeared...

Congratulations you read what I said over a year ago and tried to make it your own.

  • looks slow.... but nice buggy

  • In this video it isn't geared for speed runs.

  • I can see its video time on the temps of gearing under or over a motor..... look for it sometime this weekend.

  • @chaddythepimp1973 This video isn't your setup though, and nor is that what this is about ultimately. Guys are saying that undergearing drops temps, but this is totally wrong. Correct gearing drops temps on all the electronics, overgearing heats up the esc and batts, way overgearing heats up everything, and undergearing only heats up the motor ( assuming the esc, motor and batts are a suitable size for the model to start with that is ). That said, you can cook a poor motor with overgearing too..

  • @SuicideNeil I've geared my RC8Be using a 9/48 gearing and the motor doesnt even get warm(2650kv tekin T8) and thats around 29mph, Ive been doing this for over 26 years and really know the ins and outs of all R.C.... so your saying that my motor should get hot when it stays ice cold? well it doesnt.
