@mutepg58 ...I agree with you ...as a great big fan of JAMC for many, many years I think this is one of their absolute best also...Usually when I like the JAMC I absolutely love them or I think they do some of the most absolute, utter garbage all mixed up throughout most of their albums but this is one that I can honestly listen to from first note to last and enjoy the whole thing

Sound of Speed, even though its a collection of bsides and rarities, is the most under-rated record by JAMC period. Personally, as a huge JAMC fan, I think The Sound of Speed is their best record period. It captures every sound they ever experimented with and comes off as very cohesive from start to finish. Too many wannabe music journalists and fans cite Psychocandy. If you want to know more about the chain.. this should be your next record. You won't regret it.
