A quest on the tracks of the Internet in Africa. A crew of volunteers from CERN, ICVolunteers and UNVolunteers go on a trip through Senegal and Mali to find out about the cultural impact of the new technologies on the population, particularly in isolated areas.
A CERN-ICVolunteers coproduction for WSIS 2003.

  • CERN is after creating technology capable of replacing the current internet infrastructure.. Look up info on this "grid" as they call it.

  • Thing must be combined. They need a mature lidership and offcourse the internet. A mature lidership will appear when the population is educatied and the internet is a step in this matter. i think that the internet is a big step in saving them but offcourse things must be combined.
